Once again an elected body has chosen to unilaterally make decisions WITHOUT consulting the
electorate.....sound familiar?....HST....Smart Meters....P3 come to mind.
Our governing bodies including and especially this one have the flattest learning curve I have ever seen.
Make no mistake Abby mayor and council......if you screw this up and we wind up part of the GVRD there won't be one place on earth that you can hide.
I will be warming up my pitchfork!

I know your mad, sometimes kids are not a direct influence of their upbringing and let loose and go out of control all on their own. Yet discipline might of helped, but that's not always the case, because it was his choice, the one he made on his own, his punishment.

Does that mean that if I gather together a group who want to post anonymously and form a corporation called GRGRAL NEWS that GRGRAL NEWS opinions will qualify to comment under that name?

What ancestry are we speaking of? I agree we should celebrate our past but that does not mean that we have to live in the past. Immigrants ARE the ancestory of our country, this counrty was built by immigrants. Everyone always says we are loosing Canadian Identity. We as Canadians come from many different backgrounds, we do not have one single identity! We are a mix of many cultures, languages, and religions and embracing that and living together is what makes us Canadian.

What does it matter what knowledge exists here, we are speaking of culture uniqueness and what allows others to integrate that into their own heritage, let Canada ancestry remain the same, not forcefully occur an expression to validate acceptance, least you be reminded if it was the way around, would it be accepted. Forget not the roots, we are not anyone better than other "SUPER SIZE KING"

Or we have an imbalance and began to lose touch with ourselves...

Yet ought we mention what occurs when one steps over boundaries and draws imaginary lines with no respect to fellow culture and stats.

Just because it can be said, doesn't say words have to be followed or likewise mentioned...

I apologize for my Hitler comment. My point was that the people that live in this world thinking that they are superior to others because they look different or come from different backgrounds is what creates wars and hate. Hitler was a horrible extreme examle of such hate and i'm sorry. I did go too far. As Mr. Smith has stated, these comments are often written in frustration. I am a person who faces racism on an ongoing basis because my children are half Indian. I'm sure that many of the people discussing this issue are unaware of what it feels like to be descriminated against. You might think that it can't be possible because you have never experienced it, but I have. My kids are 6 & 8 and have been told they are going to hell because they went to the temple. Have your kids ever come home in tears because someone told them their skin looks dirty? I just feel like the hate filled rants of many preceeding mine seem to go over just fine with everyone. Sorry if i've lost my "class"
